I have taught at Chalford Hill for 4 years. My first year was in Year 2 and the past 3 years have been in Reception.

I enjoy all creative activities in school such as drama, painting and drawing and I also enjoy P.E., particularly ball games and parachute games.

Subject Leader
I am a subject leader for geography and cross curricular teaching and learning.

Subject Outline
I teach 6 areas of learning in the Foundation stage:
Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication Language and Literacy, Mathematical development, Physical development, Creative development and Knowledge and Understanding of the World.

I teach all 6 subjects through a theme and we enjoy learning inside and outside.

Our Topics/themes  this year have included Bears, Growing Up, Wonderful Winter, On The Move and Fabulous Fruits and Vibrant Veggies. We also go on weekly wellie walks in our local area to find out about the world.

After School Activities

I have been involved in the netball club for the past 4 years. We have played in tournaments and matches against local schools. We have alos organised charity netball matches, pupils vs staff.

In the Summer I run an Infant Athletics club where we like to run, jump and throw.
