Reception Class - Chalford Hill School

Brief Outline:

I am in my first year at Chalford Hill having taught a Reception Class in central London for the past two years. I am enjoying my new country life and familiarising myself with the local area. I am a keen sports person and particularly enjoy riding and swimming. I love games and creative activities with the children.

Subject Leader:

I am the subject leader for Design and Technology with Mr Bocock.

Curriculum:

In Reception we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which covers 6 areas of learning; Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication Language and Literacy, Problem Solving Reasoning and Numeracy, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Physical development and Creative development.  I teach through a theme and we enjoy cross curricular learning both inside and outside.
