Year 1 - Chalford Hill School

Year 1 

 

This term Year 1 are working on OURSELVES.  We will be busy printing with hands and using fingers to make patterns.  We have set up a Vets Surgery in the classroom and a local vet came to talk about looking after animals.  We are also getting ready for the Harvest Festival.  We are using different fruit and vegetables in our cooking activities and in our Artwork.  We are planning to visit Over Farm to harvest beans and pumpkins and see other vegetables the farmer grows.

 

Mrs Moss and Mrs McLaughlin teach Year 1.  Mrs Shaylor helps the teachers and all the Year 1 children.  We have lots of fun in Year 1 and enjoy working with the children.

 

 

  Mrs Shaylor supports teaching and learning in Y1
