Kevin Stubbs - Year 3

Brief outline and my interests

Apart from one year I have taught at the school since 1975! This year I started a job share with Mrs Flood. I now teach for three days of the week.

I enjoy walking and keeping my small garden in shape!

I am subject leader for Music and History.

After School Activities

I organize recorder groups throughout the year. During the Spring I take children to the County Dance Festival and to The Stroud Schools' Music Festival.

Brief outline and my interests

 

I taught for 8 years in Hampshire before taking a little break to look after my 2 boys.

 

Over the last year, I have worked as a supply teacher at the school and had a great time in YR, covering Mrs McLaughlin’s maternity leave.

 

I am now enjoying working Mondays and Tuesdays in Y3.

 

 

I love spending time with my boys – kicking a football around in the garden and making delicious cakes!

Subject Outline

Between us, we teach all the subjects in the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Mr Stubbs particularly enjoys teaching Music and History and Mrs Flood is very enthusiastic about Science!

Projects

Year 3 enjoy their History topics-particularly the ones where they can dress up - The Victorians and Evacuees from World War Two.
