Brief Outline and my Interests

This is my 9th year at the school - started 2 days a week - now look at me! 

  

I enjoy walking and swimming ... and being with my 2 boys, Harry and Oliver.  Eating chocolate ... mmmm! 

 

Subject Leader 
English.

 

Subject Outline

I teach all the subjects in the Key Stage 2 curriculum.  I love teaching English, especially poetry.

 

 

Projects this year 

Vikings - We had a great Viking Day at the Wilderness Centre.  The children love it.

Homelessness - We built shelters in the garden and interviewed a chap who had experienced being homeless.
Victorian Schools - Another chance to dress up.

Waitrose Cookery Studio - The children have also enjoyed visiting the Waitrose Cookery Studio, working on 'Bread' (DT) and 'Healthy Eating' (Science)

After School Activities

I run the book fairs that we have in school.

 

I organise the Speaking & Listening Competition for Years 5/6
